Coming Up This Week: US Big Banks on the Radar

The third-quarter earnings season will kickstart with major US banks. In an ultra-low interest rates environment, the financial industry struggled faced by a series of pressures triggered by the ongoing pandemic crisis. Over the months, banks had made significant provisions for credit losses and saw major declines in asset management revenues. Investors will closely monitor the corporate results to see whether banks are bracing for more pandemic-related provisions and gauge the performance of the banks as interest rates remain near zero.

Tuesday

JP Morgan Chase & Co (JPM): JPMorgan Chase & Co. will host a conference call to review third-quarter 2020 financial results on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. (Eastern). The results are scheduled to be released at approximately 7:00 a.m. (Eastern).

Citigroup Inc (C): Citigroup will issue its third-quarter results via press release at approximately 8 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. At 10 a.m. (ET), results will be reviewed via live webcast and teleconference.

 Wednesday

 Wells Fargo & Co (WFC): Wells Fargo & Company will report its third-quarter 2020 earnings results on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at approximately 8 a.m. ET.

 Goldman Sachs Group Inc (GS): The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to announce its Third Quarter 2020 financial results on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in a press release that will be issued at approximately 7:30 am (ET).

 Bank of American Corp (BAC): Bank of America will report its third-quarter 2020 financial results on Wednesday, October 14. The results will be released at approximately 6:45 a.m. ET, followed by an investor presentation at 8:30 a.m. ET.

 Thursday

 Morgan Stanley (MS): The Company will announce its third-quarter 2020 financial results on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at approximately 7:30 a.m. (ET). A conference call to discuss the results will be held on October 15, 2020, at 8:30 a.m. (ET).
